Not every Drafthaus pizza can be a slam dunk. This pizza was pretty good, which i would expect nothing less from drafthaus, but is it an absolutely life changing pie like the 9 ball? I’m afraid it’s just not quite there. Overall it holds its own against plenty of other rising pizzas, but i think its shortcomings, especially in the realm of texture and affordability, truly come into light when you compare it to a pie like the Freschetta, my personal favorite rising crust pizza. I think i’ll stick to their thin crust pizzas.
