This is another example of a common phenomenon that occurs in the pizza aisle: Chicago pizza restaurant chains with good to great pizza when made in house produce a frozen pizza that is mediocre at best and doesn’t compare to the real thing. I’ve been eating Rosati’s since i was a wee lad, and while my expectations were not really all that high i did expect it to (at least somewhat) live up to the real deal. I must admit, the flavor is quite reminiscent of the classic Rosati’s taste but this just feels like a lifeless shell of a much better pie.
